IMC PhD Student Participated in the 28th European Meeting on Blood-Brain Barriers

We are pleased to share that our PhD student Agnė Pociūtė participated in the 28th European Brain Barriers Meeting (EBBM26), held from September 16-18 in Aarhus, Denmark. The international meeting brought together researchers studying the biology, function, and regulation of brain barriers in health and disease.
 

During the conference, Agnė presented her research in a poster titled:

“Microglial extracellular vesicles support blood-brain barrier integrity and endothelial proliferation via distinct TGFβ and PI3K-AKT signalling pathways”

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to present her latest research findings, discuss her work with researchers in the field, and gain new perspectives through scientific discussions. It also offered insights into current approaches, models, and technologies used to study blood-brain barrier and its role in health and disease.
