Congratulations to dr. Barbora Lekešytė on the successful defense of her doctoral dissertation!

Barbora Lekešytė, a Junior Researcher and PhD candidate at the Department of Immunology and Bioelectrochemistry of the Innovative Medicine Center (IMC), successfully defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Enhancement of Electroporation- based Treatments with Gold Nanoparticles”, under the supervision of scientific consultant prof. dr. Vitalij Novickij. The dissertation investigated the application of gold nanoparticles in electroporation technologies to improve the efficiency of electrochemotherapy and gene electrotransfer. The research findings contribute to the development of more advanced and effective cancer treatment approaches.
