The WHO high-level meeting in New Delhi highlighted a shifting view of health toward scientifically grounded integration of traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) into national health systems. Health is increasingly seen as more than the absence of disease; it is a balance of body and mind, people and communities, culture and nature. The 2025–2034 WHO strategy strengthens the role of TCIM in health systems, emphasizing research, safety, and regulation. Greta Kasputė participated in the meeting online, representing Lithuania’s innovative medicine community (Innovative Medicine Center, Lithuanian Apitherapy Association, and the TCIH coalition). Her involvement underscores Lithuania’s growing engagement in international dialogue on integrative health. The emphasis on traditional and integrative medicine may signify the future direction of health systems when pursued responsibly, scientifically, and transparently.
